According to the information, two persons in the afternoon came on a pulsar bike and entered the house of Gopala Krishna (quarter no. 31), who left for duty.
They asked Mounika, Gopala Krishna’s wife, to give the keys of Almirah as her aunt asked them to bring the keys.
When Mounika, who suspected them, refused to give the keys, one of them injured her. The terrified woman gave the keys to them. The duo fled taking away Rs 2.5 lakh from the Almirah.
Gopala Kirshna alleged that someone, who knew that he had the money, stole it. He also said that he brought that money to clear his debts. He lodged a complaint with the police.
