Fake consultancy cons overseas job aspirants
Over 100 persons, who aspired to go abroad for education and work as skilled laborers were cheated by a fake education and job consultancy at Punjagutta.
Hyderabad: Over 100 persons, who aspired to go abroad for education and work as skilled laborers were cheated by a fake education and job consultancy at Punjagutta.
The victims approached the Punjagutta police and lodged a complaint against Trinetra Management, which promised to arrange visas to unemployed persons and also the aspirants of higher studies. They complained that the company had collected about Rs 50,000 from each to arrange visas, but failed to keep up the promise.
On Monday, when some of them visited the consultancy, they found that the management shut down the consultancy and ran away. Basing on the complaint, the Punjagutta police booked a cheating case and took some employees of the consultancy into custody for questioning.
