Warangal: The rural police have formed a special team to crack the case of the mysterious death of two missing tribal girls, who were found dead at Khaderpetgutta in Chennaraopet mandal in the district on Sunday.

Rural Superintendent of Police Ambar Kishor Jha informed that Narsampet Circle Inspector B Kishan was made the investigating officer and he would lead the special team. Narsampet DSP Dasari Muralidhar was asked to monitor the case’s investigation personally on daily basis.
‘We are taking the case in a serious manner and we fixed a time frame of 90 days to complete the probe in view of the gravity of the incident. From the district headquarters, I would also closely monitor the progress of the case,’ the SP told The Hans India in Hanamkonda on Monday.
The entire probe would be conducted in a scientific manner. The team of medical officers has preserved the viscera for chemical analysis. Though the bodies’ were identified, based on the clothes the deceased were bearing, in order to assert their identity beyond any doubt it was decided to conduct the DNA test on the remains of the girls, whose bodies were found fully putrefied.
The probe would look into all possible angles not giving any scope to loose ends. Whether it was a homicide or suicide could only be established after the investigation was completed, the Superintendent of Police said.
He denied the allegations that the Mulugu police have acted negligently in dealing with the case. The police always take the missing cases seriously. He appealed the family of the missing persons to approach the police immediately and with correct information to help the police to trace out them.
The missing case was booked at Parvathagiri police station under Warangal Commissionerate limits and the probe was launched from that point onwards. The Chennaraopet police booked a case of suspicious death under Cr PC section 174 in connection with the incident, he added.
