An Arogyamitra employee who was retrenched from services recently, tried to end her life on Monday morning at Manubole in the district. Sumalatha of Manubole has been breadwinner of the family as her husband Anand was suffering from kidney disease.
Nellore: An Arogyamitra employee who was retrenched from services recently, tried to end her life on Monday morning at Manubole in the district. Sumalatha of Manubole has been breadwinner of the family as her husband Anand was suffering from kidney disease.
He has been under treatment and she joined some time ago as Arogyamitra employee in Manubole and was looking after her family. Since the removal of all contract employees by the State govrnment last week, she has been in a dejected mood, said family members.
She consumed sleeping pills on Monday morning and family members with the help of neighbours shifted her to the local primary health centre for treatment. She is stated to be out of danger and recovering.
