Man sets wife ablaze for not serving omelette
An auto driver, under the influence of alcohol, has set ablaze his wife, as he thought that she refused to serve him an omelette on Sunday. According to the police, Naresh, an auto driver from Pahadishareef was an alcoholic. He was married to Sadesamma, 30, and they have two sons.
Hyderabad: An auto driver, under the influence of alcohol, has set ablaze his wife, as he thought that she refused to serve him an omelette on Sunday. According to the police, Naresh, an auto driver from Pahadishareef was an alcoholic. He was married to Sadesamma, 30, and they have two sons.
On Sunday night, Naresh came home in an inebriated state and beat up his wife. During dinner, Naresh asked his wife to serve him an omelette. She served him the omelette. But Naresh did not have dinner for quite some time, so his younger son ate the omelette.
After sometime, Naresh started abusing her for not serving him an omelette and spilled kerosene on her and set her ablaze.The locals came to her rescue and rushed her to a nearby hospital where her condition is said to be critical. Naresh was taken into custody, the police said.
