Illegal Oxytocin plant busted
The police on Saturday busted an illegally Oxytocin making unit and arrested three persons at Bahadurpura here. The police seized 1,000 bottles of the drug and a large amount of chemicals.
Hyderabad: The police on Saturday busted an illegally Oxytocin making unit and arrested three persons at Bahadurpura here. The police seized 1,000 bottles of the drug and a large amount of chemicals.
According to police, on credible information, a team of south zone task force police along with the Drug inspector of Charminar raided the illegal drug manufacturing unit under Bahadurpura and Madannapet police stations’ limits.
During the raids, Lachu Rai (34) of Kishan Bagh, Mukesh Agarwal (40) of Charminar and Shiak Abdul Khaled alias Afroz alias Naser Ali alias Nanaba (30) of Edi Bazar were taken into custody, Task Force Additional DCP N Koti Reddy said Mukesh Agarwal, who was manufacturing dairy products and has a cattle business at Falaknuma, planned to earn more money and sought the help of Lachi Rai and Khaleed to make Oxytocin which was used to increase milk yield by the cattle. The trio had been arrested and handed over to the police stations concerned for further action, the Additional DCP said at a press meet.
