The Rajendranagar magistrate court on Tuesday sentenced Young Rebel Star Prabhas' brother Prabodh Uppalapati to one year imprisonment in a cheque bounce case.
According to reports, Prabodh issued a cheque for Rs 43 lakh to a Secunderabad based businessman but it bounced due to insufficient funds in Prabodh's account.
The businessman filed a cheque bounce case against Prabodh. The Rajendranagar court yesterday awarded him the imprisonment and ordered him to pay Rs 80 lakh within two months from the date of its verdict.
