Two students have been arrested by the police on Wednesday after they set five shops on fire in Secunderabad in an inebriated state. The accused have been identified as T Chiranjeevi and K Jayendra Varma who were nabbed after they were caught on footage of surveillance cameras in the area.

Chiranjeevi is the son of DSP TV Hanmantharao while Jayendra is the son of a civil engineer at Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad, V Krishnam Raju. The police officials revealed that the two students had come to Secunderabad at 2 AM in an inebriated state and lit five shops on fire that included three cloth shops, a footwear shop, and accessory shop.
