Newly-wed woman ends life in Hyderabad

A newly married woman, Farhana Begum from Fateh Darrwaja committed suicide on Monday at her in-laws' house in Hyderabad. The woman who married Sayyad Yousuf of Kamatipura five months back consumed poison while her husband left for Qatar on a job. Farhana had been staying with her mother-in-law since then.

However, Farhana took the extreme step on Monday and was rushed to Osmania Hospital by her family members. While undergoing treatment, she succumbed to death. The reasons behind her suicide are not yet known but the police have registered a case and the investigation is underway.
