Lajpat Nagar restaurant owner shot dead in Delhi

New Delhi : A 60-year-old owner of a restaurant in South Delhi's Lajpat Nagar area was shot at, following an argument by four unidentified men on Monday night.

The incident took place around 10 pm when four men had come to the Sindhi Dhaba in Lajpat Nagar 3 in a car.

As per reports, they had their dinner and tried to leave without paying the bill following which Vasudeo alias Pappu, the owner of the eatery, tried to intervene.

An altercation broke out after which, one of the four men took out a gun and allegedly shot four rounds there.

The accused fled the scene by the time the police reached the spot. The victim was then rushed to a hospital.
