Hyderabad: Couple abscond after duping women of Rs 2.5 crore

A couple hoodwinked residents of Banjara Hills by promising them high-income returns from villas at Vizag. The couple collected around Rs 2.5 crore along with jewellery from the victims and absconded.

Police informed that the couple, S Lalitha and her husband Srivastava had approached some women on Banjara Hills Road No. 13 and promised them high-income returns if they invested in villas at Vizag.

The victims lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police who have registered a case and begun investigation.
