Nellore: Four town police arrested two accused in laptop theft case and recovered 29 laptops on Thursday. SP Vishal Gunni, while interacting with press persons here on Thursday, said the cost of the laptops were around Rs 9 lakh, and the accused used to steal laptops from buses.

He said Bitragunta Suresh of Kuppam in Chittoor district and Koduru Lakshman Raju, who hails from NTR Nagar in Nellore, are relatives and have been stealing the laptops from buses.

As his brother was working in Bangalore, he used to visit the city frequently and observed that people were placing
valuable laptops in the luggage cabins inside the bus.

He planned to take away the laptops with the help of his brother-in-law Lakshman Raju, who is resident of Nellore. While Suresh stole laptops, Raju sold them in Nellore. Both shared the resultant amount. They were into stealing laptops for last two years, police said.
