7 held for gambling cash seized

The Nandyal police along with their II Town counterparts jointly conducted raids on SS Residency after getting valid information. The II Town Sub Inspector S Mohan Reddy accompanied by another SI P Subba Rami Reddy and other police staff conducted the raids and apprehended seven persons. Rs 2, 77,590 cash along with five mobile phones were seized from them. A case has been filed.
Kurnool: The Nandyal police arrested seven persons for gambling on Tuesday night. According to Circle Inspector D Muralidhar Reddy, the accused were playing cards in a rented flat at SS Residency at SBI Colony in Nandyal.
