Five killed as lorry hits tractor

A speeding lorry hit the stationary tractor at Yekopalli on the Kadapa-Kurnool highway resulting in death of three people on the spot. Relatives of the bride Venkataramana (22), Balaraju (30) died on the spot and two other persons succumbed at the Produtur hospital where the injured are being treated.
​Kadapa: Five people were killed and 15 more sustained severe injuries in a ghastly road accident which took place in the early hours of Sunday at Yekopalli in Duvvuru mandal. The deceased were related to a bride whose marriage was to be held a few hours later. They were travelling from Kishtampalli to Kadapa when the accident occurred.
