Eluru: Two agricultural labourers were electrocuted in a fish pond at Velivarru village of Undi mandal in the district on Tuesday.
According to police, Malladi Suresh (26) of Bindupuram in Devarapalli mandal and Chirra Venkanna (50) of Kolamuru village of Undi mandal were working in a fish pond in Velivarru village.
While they were spraying the fish-feed on a small boat, they came in contact with a live wire of the radiator in the pond and were electrocuted.The deceased Suresh was married two years ago whereas Venkanna is survived by two children. Undi SI M Ravi Kumar is investigating the case.
