Kidnapped child still untraced
According to information reaching here, Tirupati Urban SP R Jayalakshmi visited patents Khalil and Ayesha at their residence in Jamla Street here on Saturday and assured them of tracing the child soon.
Tirupati: The one-year old girl child Kalma who was abducted from her home in Srikalahasti, 40 km from here, in the early hours of Friday still remain untraced on Saturday.
According to information reaching here, Tirupati Urban SP R Jayalakshmi visited patents Khalil and Ayesha at their residence in Jamla Street here on Saturday and assured them of tracing the child soon.
The baby was found missing by her mother on Friday morning. After a vain search, Khalil lodged a complaint with Srikalahasti Two Town police station, who registered a case and took up investigation.
The parents said that they retired to bed along with children as usual on Thursday night. Ayesha who woke up at about 3 am on Friday was shocked to see her baby missing. Clues team including dog squad was pressed into service. Police stepped up the investigation to trace the girl child.
