Teacher beaten up for showing obscene images to girl students
Unable to bear the teacher’s misbehavior, girl students complained to parents and in turn they rushed to the high school along with villagers and beat up the teacher and complained to police and higher officials as well.
Srikakulam: Telugu teacher, Mandala Venkata Ramana, was beaten up by villagers and parents of students at Devudala government high school in Regidi mandal on Tuesday for showing porn pictures to girl students of classes IX and X and making sexual remarks against them.
Unable to bear the teacher’s misbehavior, girl students complained to parents and in turn they rushed to the high school along with villagers and beat up the teacher and complained to police and higher officials as well.
On receiving information, Palakonda Division Deputy DEO, I Venkata Rao, rushed to spot and inquired about the incident.
We recorded statements of nine girl students against the teacher and reported to the DEO and District Collector, the Deputy DEO told The Hans India.
Parents of the girl students alleged that the Telugu teacher had been harassing the students for the last several months and they complained to headmaster of the school Ananda Rao but he turned a blind eye intentionally and supported the teacher outrightly. We will take action against the teacher after receiving inquiry report,” DEO D Devananda Reddy said.
