Late in the evening, fires erupted from a three-storied scrap godown located beside Andhra Bank in Shamsheergunj under Falaknuma police station limits.
Sources said that the blazes erupted from the building at around 9.20 pm. Thick smoke engulfed the area within no time and fire erupted on the ground floor and spread to the entire building. Local residents were panicked as the godown is located in a densely populated residential area in Falaknuma.
