​Adoni (Kurnool): An eight-year-old boy was electrocuted at Madhavaram village on Tuesday. According to Madhavaram police, Anil, a student of IInd Class, was playing with his sister on terrace when he came in contact with the dangling electric wires that were passing through the roof of their house.

On learning about the incident, the parents rushed to the terrace and found Anil in an unconscious state. They immediately rushed him to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The parents of the deceased blamed the electricity department for their failure to remove the dangling electrical wires.

They alleged that the electricity department has failed to remove the weires though they had complained to the authorities concerned many a time. Madhavaram police registered a case based on a complaint lodged by the parents of the deceased .
