Minor raped, accused held

A 16-year old girl was raped allegedly by a supervisor working for an old age home in a parked vehicle in Bandlaguda under L B Nagar police station limits on Tuesday night.

According to police, Ganesh, 22, working as a supervisor for Rama Krishna Old Age Home in Anand Nagar at Bandlaguda allegedly raped the teenager by luring her inside a vehicle. He had promised her job in the old age home.

He was allegedly assisted by two other supervisors Venkatesh and Subbaiah in the crime, the police said. The police who took into custody the accused also seized the vehicle for investigation.
