Visakhapatnam: The PM Palem police arrested one more land-grabber in Kommadi area late on Wednesday evening. He was identified as S Chandramouli, a resident of Kommadi area in the city.Circle Inspector of PM Palem station K Lakshamana Murthy said that Mary George and her relatives purchased around three acres of land under Survey Number 118/1 at Ayodhyanagar area under PM Palem locality about 20 years ago.
But she did not raise any construction and the land was lying vacant. Chandramouli, who claimed to be real estate agent, took support of his friends and relatives and created fake documents of the land in a bid to sell the property. He also released advertisements in newspapers for sale of the property.

Police sources said that the some real-estate agents taking advantage of the situation and roping in support of second rung political leaders have been indulging in land-grabbing in PM Palem, Madhurawada, Kommadi , Anandapuram an Last month, the same police arrested a land grabber who tried to sell away the land belonging to an NRI. They also arrested top builder MV Satyanarayana for encroaching into another property in Madhuravada.
