Bridegroom murdered

​Karimnagar: Love blossomed between two minors of the city. The boy even went to Charlapalli jail on kidnap charges for the sake of the girl.

The die-hard lover made all arrangements to marry his beau at a temple in LMD area on the city outskirts on Thursday. But, the relatives nipped the love when it was about to fructify killing the boy on the spot.

Brothers of the girl appeared from nowhere suddenly and recklessly attacked the groom and his father killing the groom on the spot.

The boy’s father, however, survived the attack with injuries. The police blame the bride’s relatives for the murder. A resident of the city, Anil, was in deep love with his neighbor –a minor girl Mounika -- ever since he was a minor.

Elders chided them on several occasions. Parents took Mounika to Hyderabad to avoid Anil. But Anil duty fully appeared in Hyderabad.

Unable to bear with the activities of Anil, the girl’s parents complained against him in Hyderabad. The police let him off after counseling.

Later, they eloped as the elders are against their marriage. The girls’ parents lodged a complaint against Anil. Since the girl is a minor, he was sent to the Charlapalli prison.

Upon release from prison, Anil returned to Karimnagar. Mounika came to Anil’s house on Wednesday even. Anil was attacked on Thursday by the girl’s brothers while he and the girl were registering their marriage in a temple.
