​Hyderabad: Air intelligence wing of the Customs department found gold bars weighing 1.5 kg concealed in the garments of three passengers and detained them at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad on Friday.
According to officials, the passengers arrived by an Air India flight from Jeddah. Since the customs officials had specific information, three passengers were isolated and on frisking them, gold bars concealed in their innerwear were found.
Officials said the gold bars were worth around Rs 35 lakh and further investigations are underway.
