Speeding car goes out of control, injures 10 students
A speeding car went out of control injuring at least 10 people and damaging three two wheelers in Shaikpet area of Banjara Hills police station limits on Monday.
​Hyderabad: A speeding car went out of control injuring at least 10 people and damaging three two wheelers in Shaikpet area of Banjara Hills police station limits on Monday.
According to police, the man at the wheel of the speeding car lost control when it hit the two wheelers parked in front of a building in Shaikpet before hitting over a dozen nursing students waiting for their transport. The students ran helter-skelter shouting in fear.
However, the car hit the nursing students injuring at least 10 of them. The driver of the vehicle managed to escape as the car came to a halt. Locals rushed the injured students to a hospital for treatment.
Banjara Hills police registered a case and launched investigations to nab the absconding driver.
