Kothagudem: Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau took motor vehicles inspector Mohammed Ghouse Basha and his two drivers into custody from SCCL guest house here in the wee hours of Monday.
Several documents related to assets worth Rs 2 crore and gold weighing 1.75 kg were seized from him. They launched simultaneous raids at 10 places in Khammam, Kothagudem, Karimnagar and Hyderabad in disproportionate assets case.
The official is alleged to have owned properties in Andhra Pradesh also. Five DSPs and 10 CIs belonging to Khammam, Karimnagar, Hyderabad and Adilabad participated in the raids.
