Hyderabad: Rachakonda police on Thursday arrested a 27-year-old man for Allegedly sending hurtful emails to the fiancé of the women he is interested in to foil her wedding.

The accused has been identified as Moghal Feroz Baig, a resident of Begumpet. According to the police, the accused tried to befriend the complainant, a resident of Malkajgiri, when she joined the Business process outsourcing where he was working in September 2016. However, the woman was not interested to pursue him.

Police said, upon discovering that the women was engaged to an NRI and would be quitting the job soon after the wedding, the accused managed to find the email ID of the woman’s fiancé through her friends and created a new mail ID with fake information.

Baig sent mails to the fiancé assassinating her character and advised him not to marry the complainant. The mails resulted in creating suspicion and him not visiting India for the wedding scheduled in the last week of February 2017, police said

The woman came to know about the spoilsport played by anonymous person and lodged a complaint with the Cyber Cell of Rachakonda police. During investigation, police tracked down the accused and nabbed him.
