Kurnool: Kurnool rural police arrested five persons out of 8 in connection with murdering of Modi Rajini Kumar (48) the organizer of Good Shepherd Schools on Sunday.Kurnool Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), DV Ramana Murthy revealing the facts to media said the deceased Rajini Kumar was known to be organizing Shepherd Schools in Kurnool town.

Rajini Kumar was said to have married the daughter of Budatha Thimmaiah who was the founder of Shepherd Schools in 1993. The deceased was associated with his father-in-law up to 2011 and after developing splits in connection with financial transactions he disassociated with the business.

After disassociating he was said to be staying alone even deserting his wife. Thimmaiah who developed grudge on Rajini Kumar thought to take retribution for the insult meted.He consulted Sri Ramulu (former Corporator) of Budwarapet and Maddilety Yadav (Reporter of Encounter paper) and sought their assistance to eliminate Rajini Kumar.

Sri Ramulu and Maddilety Yadav accepted the contract for Rs.3 lakhs and took the assistance of Koppala Shiva Prasad, Dumam Sai Krishna, Shaik Khader Basha, Shaik Minnela Hussain and Nitish of weaker section colony, he said.All the five persons except Sri Ramulu and Maddilety Yadav invited Rajini Kumar for a party at Gorantla village fair on 17th of last month.
After arriving of Rajini Kumar all the six members consumed liquor up and later they indulged in heated argument.
As per the plan sketched Venkata Ramudu strangled Rajini and the rest stabbed him indiscriminately resulting in his spot death, he stated.

Later they transported the dead body to Pedda Tekuru village and laid the body on rail tracks and left the car at Sasya hotel. The case registered by the railway police has been transferred to Ullindakonda police station. On the direction of the Kurnool DSP, DV Ramana Murthy, the case has been taken up, he stated.

Knowing about the intensity of the case, all the five accused surrendered before Kodmuru Village Revenue Officer (VRO) on Sunday who in turn handed over them to police. On interrogation all the five accused confessed the crime. A cell phone, gold chain and car have been seized and the accused have been produced before JMFC.

The remaining accused is yet to arrest, he said. Rural police station Circle Inspector Nagaraj Yadav, Sub Inspectors and Constables were present.Kurnool Rural police arrested five persons in connection with murdering of Rajini Kumar, the organizer of Good Shepard Schools.
