Handicapped labourer killed by mason
In a ghastly incident of inhuman act, a physically handicapped labourer in Garlapally village of Makthal Mandal in Mahbubnagar district was killed by a mason.
Mahbubnagar: In a ghastly incident of inhuman act, a physically handicapped labourer in Garlapally village of Makthal Mandal in Mahbubnagar district was killed by a mason.
According to villagers of Garlapally, Ramulu, a physically handicapped was employed as a daily wage worker by Venkatesh, a mason of the same village.
However, the mason had been delaying the wage payment to Ramulu for past few days. On Sunday, when Ramulu went to the Venkatesh's house demanding him to immediately pay all his pending wage dues, the mason got enraged and pounced on the handicapped and threw him on the ground while beating him blue and black.
Consequently, Ramulu, who received severe injuries, died on the spot. The villagers and onlookers immediately caught hold of the mason and handed him over to Makthal police. The police booked a case against the mason and investigation is on.
