Hyderabad: East zone task force team on Friday arrested two bookies for accepting bets for the ongoing IPL matches. The arrested bookies were identified as Gajanand Upadhyay and Sandeep Tak of Begum Bazaar.
Police recovered Rs 3.84 lakh in cash and eight cell phones from their possession. Efforts are underway to nab two other accused at large. The bookies were handed over to Afzalgunj police.
