Hyderabad: Rachakonda and Hyderabad police have arrested eight bookies and three punters on the charges of betting for the ongoing IPL matches. They seized mobile phones and huge amount of cash from them.
While Rachakonda police arrested seven bookies and three punters, Hyderabad police arrested one bookie. All of them were found indulged in cricket betting.
Rachakonda police seized 13 mobile phones, one laptop and Rs 9,90,500 in cash, while Hyderabad police recovered three mobile phones and Rs 1,37,000 in cash.
