In a tragic incident, three youth on Monday drowned in a local waterbody at Jangareddypalli village of Aroor grama panchayath in Valigonda mandal on Monday.
Valigonda: In a tragic incident, three youth on Monday drowned in a local waterbody at Jangareddypalli village of Aroor grama panchayath in Valigonda mandal on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Srinivas (16) of Lingotam, Ganesh (18) of Siliveru and Srikanth (19) of Sarvel village. According to the locals, all the deceased youth came to their relatives’ house to participate in Durga puja.
On Monday, the trio went for swimming at Yapala waterbody located in the village and were drowned to death.
On information, villagers rushed to the spot and fished out the bodies and shifted them to Ramannapet area hospital. Valigonda police registered a case and investigation is on.
