Advocate dies under suspicious circumstances
An advocate, who had challenged the election of YSRCP legislator from Nandikotkur in the High Court, was found dead in his house at Srininagar Colony under mysterious circumstances.
​Hyderabad: An advocate, who had challenged the election of YSRCP legislator from Nandikotkur in the High Court, was found dead in his house at Srininagar Colony under mysterious circumstances.
Advocate Ravikiran, a native of Nandikotkur, was mostly living in the city since one year after his marriage. He had unsuccessfully contested in the 2014 elections from Nandikotkur as an Independent candidate. The YSRCP nominee Aizaiah was elected in the elections.
However, Ravikiran challenged the election of the YSRCP candidate in the High Court on the ground that Aizaiah had made false representation that he was from SC community and filed his nomination from the reserved constituency. The case is still pending in the court.
Relatives of the advocate were stated to have been informed about his death on Friday night. His body was stated to have been found in a pool of blood. While the relatives claimed that Ravikiran would not have committed suicide as he did not have any problem or issues.
