Man murders daughter’s lover
In a bizarre incident, a father allegedly murdered a youth who fell in love with his daughter and buried him in the sea shore of the village.
Malkipuram (East Godavari): In a bizarre incident, a father allegedly murdered a youth who fell in love with his daughter and buried him in the sea shore of the village.
According to the police, the incident took place in Goodapalli village where Kanuboina Ramanjaneyulu (23) fell in love with a girl of the same village and same caste.
After few years of courtship, Ramanjeneyulu went to Gulf for employment and came back to the village recently and both of them decided to inform about their love to their parents.
When Ramanjaneyulu came to village about two months ago, Kandula Vijayakumar, father of the girl, met him and warned him of dire consequences if he continues to love his daughter. He also hatched a plan to eliminate him.
On June 3, he called one Matta Nagababu, close friend of Ramanjaneyulu through whom he invited Ramanjaneyulu to Gollapalem beach.
Vijayakumar was involved in an argument with Ramanjaneyulu and in the melee he was stabbed at several places on his body. After he died on the spot, Vijayakumar buried Rajamanjaneyulu’s body in the sand on the shore.
