​Mancherial: Circle Inspector Sudhakar said that police is cracking whip on illegal sale of banned gutkas in the region. The police took a person into custody while peddling gutka in the town bus stand on Wednesday night.
The CI said that Sanjeev Kumar of Kagaz Nagar is operating illegal peddling through Imtiyaz of Manthani. Based on the information, police raided the godowns in Manthani and seized gutka worth Rs 1.40 lakh. Cases have been registered against Sanjeev and Imtiyaz, the police said.
