Employer impregnates mentally retarded worker
In a gruesome incident, an employer molested a mentally retarded woman, who is employed to rear his sheep, and made her pregnant.
Pochampally: In a gruesome incident, an employer molested a mentally retarded woman, who is employed to rear his sheep, and made her pregnant.
The incident took place in Jiblakpalli village of Pochampally mandal in Yadadri district and came to light on Friday when she fell ill.
According to locals, Pagadala Venkataiah of Jiblakpalli engaged a mentally retarded woman, Yadamma of the same village, as a labor for sheep rearing.
He trapped her with his words and molested her at his agriculture well. He warned her to keep silent, otherwise he will kill her mother. The victim remained silent. She became weak when she became five-month pregnant.
Yadamma’s mother became suspicious and questioned her. Then the victim told everything to her mother and how Venkataiah betrayed her.
The angry mother narrated the incident to the villagers. According to sources, the accused with the help of some mediators was trying for settlement.
