Two persons commit suicide

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old woman committed suicide allegedly due to depression.

According to Jeedimetla police, the deceased, B. Supriya, resorted to the extreme step by setting herself ablaze at her residence in Chintal on July 2. She was admitted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment where she succumbed on Friday morning. She was reportedly under depression for the last few months.

In another case, V. Shekhar, 25, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Maisamma Banda of Domalguda on Friday morning. He was an employee of a private firm. Failure in love is suspected to have driven him to the extreme step, according to Chikkadpally police.
