8 youth arrested on theft charges
A total of eight persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in thefts, in two different cases under Narsingi police station limits in the City on Friday.
Hyderabad: A total of eight persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in thefts, in two different cases under Narsingi police station limits in the City on Friday.
Thecrimes include pick-pocketing to mobile snatchings, and using weapons. The police recovered mobiles and other material worth Rs 40,000 from the arrested persons.
The accused are identified as MdAmair Khan, Syed Naseer, Shaik Sohailuddin and Md Pasha alias Mahmood. They were arrested under sections 382 IPC (Theft after preparation made for causing death, hurt or restraint to commit the theft).
In another case MdShabaaz, Bashaganna Shiva Kumar, Razzakh and Abdul Majid were arrested under sections 394 IPC (Voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery). All the eight were sent to judicial remand.
