Police arrest orphanage organiser

Two town police arrested private orphanage organiser for molesting girl children residing in the orphanage here on Wednesday. Prabhakar, organiser of Premanilayam orphanage was arrested after locals thrashed him for allegedly harassing minor girls sexually.
Siddipet: Two town police arrested private orphanage organiser for molesting girl children residing in the orphanage here on Wednesday. Prabhakar, organiser of Premanilayam orphanage was arrested after locals thrashed him for allegedly harassing minor girls sexually.
Based on the complaint given by Swapna, District Welfare Officer, police along with ICDS officials raided the orphanage and rescued several boys and girls from the hostel.
According to Anjaneyulu, Circle Inspector, statements of some girls have been recorded and Prabhakar has been charged under 354 (A) of Nirbhaya Act and Section (12) of POCSO Act. All the rescued children have been shifted to government hostels temporarily.
