Man thrashed for harassing woman

Hyderabad: A man was publicly thrashed at Jubilee Hills on Saturday for allegedly harassing a woman. He was caught by the victim’s relatives and locals, who beat him with slippers before handing him over to the police.
According to police, the suspect, Prasanna Kumar, a contractor from Borabanda had been harassing the woman who stays in Jubilee Hills. He was warned by her earlier, but he did not stop.
On Saturday, while the woman was walking alone on Road No 78 in Jubilee Hills, he came on his bike and started harassing her. Locals who saw this caught him and thrashed him before calling in the police and handing him over to them.
The Jubilee Hills police have booked a case based on a complaint and have taken up investigation.
