Hyderabad : Ill-health allegedly drove a 51-year-old technician to suicide.

According to Kandukur police, the deceased, B. Ashok Reddy, a technician with BSNL, took the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Kothaguda on Thursday morning. He was reportedly unwell for the last three months which consequently drove him to suicide.

In another case, A. Sushrit Kumar, 22, of Fateh Nagar, committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train on the tracks between Sanathnagar-Fateh Nagar on Thursday morning. He was an employee of a private firm and financial problems are suspected to be the reason behind suicide, according to Hyderabad Railway Police.

In a different case, D. Anil Kumar, 48, a security guard, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Kammuguda on Wednesday night. According to Vanasthalipuram police, financial problems could be the reason behind suicide.
