Two drowned bodies found
Bodies of the two persons including, an 8-year-old boy, who went missing during the heavy rainfall on Sunday were found at different locations under Chandrayangutta police station limits on Monday. The victims were residents of Al-Jubail colony near Falaknuma.
Hyderabad: Bodies of the two persons including, an 8-year-old boy, who went missing during the heavy rainfall on Sunday were found at different locations under Chandrayangutta police station limits on Monday. The victims were residents of Al-Jubail colony near Falaknuma.
The 8-year-old boy, a class 3 student of Anganwadi school in Falaknuma, Mohammed Altaf, who went missing during the rainfall on Sunday afternoon was found dead in a water pit. The pit which was dug up by the railway employees for constructing the culvert, but due to the heavy rains in Sunday it was filled with water and Altaf accidentally fell and drowned.
On Monday, locals informed the police after they found the body floating in the pit. In another case, a 60-year-old, Waheed Khan, an auto-driver and resident of Al-Jubail colony went missing on Sunday and his body was found in a nala in Falaknuma after water receded on Monday morning.
