A B-Pharmacy student attempted suicide in Vijayawada on Saturday night. The victim, identified as Nandam Yathisha, who is pursing her first-year B Pharmacy course Siddhartha Pharmacy College in Nuzvid town was unable to deal with the pressure of studies.

The victim, identified as Nandam Yathisha, who is pursing her first-year B Pharmacy course Siddhartha Pharmacy College in Nuzvid town was unable to deal with the pressure of studies.
Depressed with her lagging behind in her studies, Yathisha attempted suicide by slitting her throat with a knife in her hostel room when her roommates were out for dinner.
Fortunately, the roommates rushed in when they heard her cries and took her immediately to a nearby government hospital.
