Man held for blackmailing woman
The Cyber Crime Police of Cyberabad arrested a blackmailer who threatened a woman to leak her nude pictures online. He demanded Rs 4 lakh, after getting access to the pictures from the laptop of the woman’s friend. According to the police, Shaik Azad, a resident of Guntur, got access to the nude pictures of the complainant from her friend’s laptop and saved in his phone.
Hyderabad: The Cyber Crime Police of Cyberabad arrested a blackmailer who threatened a woman to leak her nude pictures online. He demanded Rs 4 lakh, after getting access to the pictures from the laptop of the woman’s friend. According to the police, Shaik Azad, a resident of Guntur, got access to the nude pictures of the complainant from her friend’s laptop and saved in his phone.
He thought of making easy money and contacted the woman by creating a fake Facebook profile on her name. For confirmation, he also sent some nude pictures to her and demanded Rs 4 lakhs. He also got access to her phone number and started chatting from unknown phone number through WhatsApp. He set a deadline of November 6 and asked her to come along with the money to the Secunderabad Railway Station. Meanwhile, the police zeroed in on the accused and apprehended him at the Secunderabad Railway Station and recovered the phone which contained the nude pictures.
