Failing to bag good salary, Telangana student commits suicide at NIT Patna

A student of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna in Bihar committed suicide on Wednesday night.

The student, Surender hailed from Vellulla village of Metpalli mandal in Karimnagar.

According to the reports, he didn’t bag a good package in campus recruitments which is the reason he took the extreme step.

Having been a successful student, Surender bagged a job in Wipro company, through campus recruitment. But on comparing his salary with fellow students, he realised the others who had lesser ranks went on to grab higher salary jobs.

Dejected with this, the student committed suicide, in his room at Borakhpur. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
