Medchal-Malkajgiri DEO suspended on bribe allegations

The DEO in question, A Usharani is said to have demanded a bribe from a contractor for passing bills of 'Urban Residential Hostel'.
The contractor even alleged that the DEO even misplaced a file related to the matter.
Following this, a probe has been ordered into the issue by Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari and Commissioner and director of school education G Kishan issued the suspension orders.
Meanwhile, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri DEO R Rohini has taken additional charges as Medchal district education officer.
