Irkode: Circulation Manager of The Hans India for erstwhile Medak district P Mahipal Reddy died in a bike accident on Monday night. The incident took place at around 11 pm near Pithirikunta area on the outskirts of Mustabad village in Rajanna Siricilla district. The 34-year-old deceased, who belonged to Irkode village in Siddipet mandal, was returning home after completing his duty from Mustabad.
According to SI of Mustabad Police station, Mahipal Reddy died on the spot as backside of his skull was broken after his head hit on a boulder on the road side as his bike skidded when he applied sudden brakes to avoid a treacherous pothole on the road. Mahipal Reddy, who was a bachelor, is survived by his mother and two elder brothers. Police filed a case based on the complaint by his brothers. The last rites were performed at his village on Tuesday evening amid teary farewell by the journos.
