The incident took place in Ramakrishna Colony of Thimmapur Mandal in Karimnagar district.
According to the police, the accused, Kanakaiah fired the gun at his wife over an argument on dowry. The couple who work on a business in Nepal returned home after six months. Kanakaiah informed to the police that he found a gun in an abandoned location in Nepal.
A case has been registered in this regard.
