Hyderabad: The Balanagar police on Friday night busted a rave party at popular resort at Shamirpet in Medchal district and arrested seven doctors and four others. According to Shamirpet Circle Inspector Naveen Reddy, on a tip-off the Balanagar SOT police raided the Celebrity Resort at Shamirpet and arrested seven doctors and four others.
The seven doctors, who were arrested are from Gajwel Assembly constituency. Four girls, including one from Mumbai, were rescued during the raid. All the accused were sent to Shamirpet police station for follow-up action. The accused were identified as Dr Alishala Lingam, 45, Dr Vudem Chandra Reddy, 40, both native of Gajwel and Bhuvanagiri Malleshwari, 30, a tailor, hailing from Guntur district.
The trio allegedly organised the event, while other doctors Mesugu Satyaranayana, 33, Naga Munnaiah, 45, Donthula Rajkumar, 37, Koli Chelimi Mahipal, 38, all residents of Gajwel and Nandikonda Srinivas, 47, a resident of ECIL allegedly attended the party.
