Hyderabad: In an endeavour to get digital service platform YONO closer to India’s youth, State Bank of India (SBI) announced the launch of India’s biggest quiz contest - ‘Numero YONO’. The competition, which is targeted to all the Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) students between 18-30 years of age, will be conducted across all 17 cities where SBI Local Head Offices are located. Hyderabad will be hosting the quiz contest on March 2. The winner of ‘Numero YONO’ would be conferred with an annual scholarship of upto Rs. 3.72 lakh. Interested teams from their respective colleges can register for ‘Numero YONO’ by visiting https://www.sbinumeroyono.com/.
In the Grand finale, 17 teams from 17 cities will compete with each other for the top spot to win the scholarship of Rs. 5.85 lakh at Mumbai in March 2019.
The 17 cities include Ahmedabad, Amravati, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Pune and Thiruvananthpuram.
Rajnish Kumar, Chairman, SBI said, “We are excited to introduce an innovative quiz contest - ‘Numero YONO’. We believe this initiative will provide a great platform for dynamic students to compete with the smartest quizzing minds across India. Apart from testing the quizzing quotient of the students, Numero YONO will give them an opportunity to represent their colleges in a big way and make it proud”.
In the last few months SBI under its comprehensive digital service platform YONO has come up with diverse youth engagement initiatives. After YONO Shopping Festival - the first ever shopping festival by a bank, YONO inFINite (fintech conclave) and the recently concluded YONO SBI Twenty Under 20 Awards that honoured young talent ageing below 20, ‘Numero YONO’ is yet another movement by the bank to reinforce the brand recall for YONO among its stakeholders.
