Two NIT students get 67 lakh per annum salary
Two students from National Institute of Technology (NIT) have bagged job offers from Epic Systems Corporation, a leading healthcare software company in Wisconsin, USA with a pay package of more than hundred thousand dollars per annum. In the history of NIT Jamshedpur, this is the highest annual pay package that a student of the institute has been offered.
Jamshedpur: Two students from National Institute of Technology (NIT) have bagged job offers from Epic Systems Corporation, a leading healthcare software company in Wisconsin, USA with a pay package of more than hundred thousand dollars per annum. In the history of NIT Jamshedpur, this is the highest annual pay package that a student of the institute has been offered.
Rajiv Bhusan of NIT said, “Epic Systems Corporation of USA in the ongoing placement process has offered two students Kshitij Gupta and Ali Jaheer of BTech Computer Science and Engineering stream a pay package of approximately $105,000 US Dollars which equals to about Rs 67 lakh per annum.”
The second highest pay package of Rs 32 lakh per annum was offered by a Japanese company, Works Applications, to two students Subham Satish Baldava of Computer Science & Engineering and Bharat Singh Bhandari of Electrical Engineering Branch. A total of 600 job offers have been made to the students till now and the placements are likely to continue till June, 2015.
